2025 PG New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Cole Thomas is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 5-9 188 lb. frame from Valley Stream, NY who attends Long Island Lutheran. Sturdy build with good present strength. Works from a full windup with a high leg raise start, has a deep arm action into a mid to low-3/4's arm slot, creates some whip in his arm action, front side can open early at times. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with late sink and run, got on hitters quickly. Threw a short cutter-like slider as his breaking ball, also threw a hard split finger change that had nice action at times. Plays outfield when not on the mound, throws from a lower slot and makes accurate throws, longer arm action, tends to field the ball deep. Right handed hitter, starts from a spread stance with a short stride into contact, rotational upper body swing with mid field to opposite field contact. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
