Burkon Beus is a 2027 OF/RHP, MIF with an athletic 5-11 177 lb. frame from Syracuse, UT who attends Syracuse HS. Started the even off clocking a 7.44 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder that pitches as well. Offensively, he starts in a traditional, balanced stance with a pronounced leg stride trigger mechanism. He is quick to the ball with a pull side approach and the ability to barrel. He stayed on a line throughout the round and sprayed the ball all over the field. Defensively, he used the proper foot/glove techniques, working through the baseball with the ability to move laterally, a quick arm and deliver the ball online to the bases. On the mound he has a full over the head windup. Segmented delivery with balanced actions down the mound. Shows clean arm action and fundamentally sound mechanics out of a high 3/4 slot. Good student.
