Carson Vargason is a 2027 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Anamosa, IA who attends Anamosa. Medium, compact build with some present athleticism and plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher, utilizes an abbreviated wind-up delivery from the first base side of the rubber with a leg lift just above the belt. Separates the hands at the chin and into a deeper arm path before releasing the baseball from a low three-quarters slot. Has present quickness in the shoulder and generates plenty of momentum downhill. Fastball showed short arm-side run, ultimately peaking at 80 mph. Mixed in a well-replicated CH with late arm-side fade and a vertical breaking ball with late depth. Projects for more velocity with additional strength. Secondary third baseman, stays light and quick on his feet as he works through the baseball. Showcased impressive adjustability and range in the dirt. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 77 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even, upright stance with a high back elbow. Strides into a slightly downhill bat path. Has some present hand speed with the ability to work the entire field. Generates whip to the barrel and occasional backspin to the middle of the field. Posted an exit velocity of 82 mph. Ran a 7.32 sixty-yard dash.
