Sam Christos is a 2027 C/2B, SS with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Glenview, IL who attends Glenbrook South. A frame that sits currently on the small and lean side showed some ability behind the dish to receive and gain moderate ground on throws down. The arm strength isn't present currently but there's plenty of time for growth and development. In the infield, the first step to the baseball showed to be crisp and efficient on multiple occasions. There's present feel for the leather to match the sound footwork. At the dish, he sets up with even base with pre-set separation. The swing is compact with feel to match plane but the strength at impact and bat speed are still developing. The barrel control he displayed was quality, with approach geared through the middle. 8.39 60-yard.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
