O'Shea James is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Christiansted, VI who attends St. Croix Educational Complex. Stockier frame. Ran an 8.30 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, belt high leg lift and lands online, drop and drive mechanics, high three-quarters slot, repeats delivery well, up to 76-mph on the fastball and pairs it with mid 60's curveball featuring 1-7 shape (2211 RPM), threw both for strikes and could compete in the zone with his mix. Secondary first baseman, moves well for size laterally, shorter arm action with hard pull down, has a feel around the bag. Took reps in the outfield, fields it well with an uphill process into a high three-quarters release, high arcing throws. Left-handed hitter, rotational pull swing, some fly ball contact, high back elbow, leg lift trigger. Good student.
