2024 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Billy Swaney is a 2026 C/1B, OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Frederick, MD who attends St. John's Catholic Prep. Features a big, strong, sturdy, physical frame. Has a bent knee start behind the plate. Showcased some quickness out of the crouch with short arm action and accurate throws to the bag. Arm speed is developing with more to come with growth and development. Switch hitter that has a slightly open stance at the plate with a toe tap trigger from the right side. Flatter path with quickness to his hands that produced mostly middle of the field results. From the left side, he has a wider base with a slightly open stance, high hands and a high back elbow. More juice from the this side with numbers line drives to the pull side and showed gap to gap power. More to come in regards to power. Ran a 6.97 sixty-yard dash. Very Good Student.
