Vincent Edwards is a 2028 OF/RHP, 2B, 3B, UT with a 4-8 100 lb. frame from Des Moines, IA who attends Dowling Catholic. Works from a lean compact frame with some physical upside. Primary outfielder, stayed low as he worked through the baseball, displayed smooth footwork, clean arm action, good pulldown, recorded arm strength up to 67 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, lifts the leg just below the belt, breaks into a shorter arm path, releases from a high three-quarters slot, the fastball showed some cut and late sink, topped it out at 68 mph, flashed a slower curveball down in the zone to keep hitters off balance. In the infield, worked through the baseball well, showed some lateral range, releases from a higher slot, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 67 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, starts in a wider base with a low hand-set and low back elbow, utilizes an inward leg lift trigger, has a fairly consistent barrel, produced liners to the pull-side and middle of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 68 mph. Ran an 8.41 sixty-yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
