Mateo Rincon is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Glen Head, NY who attends North Shore Senior. Rincon worked from a variety of defensive spots throughout his event, starting on the bump as a primary RHP. From the 1B side of the rubber, he displayed a clean hand break into a deep arm path accelerating into a low 3/4 slot with present whip to the arm action. He repeated the delivery well with velocity up to 80 mph. Displayed a full arsenal with good spin profile on the breaker up to 2488 rpm. Physical upside present in the frame. From the OF, Rincon worked through the ball effectively and maintained momentum through release up to 82 mph. Has room to refine the footwork a bit and expand the range, but was reliable overall. From the IF, showcased smooth glove work and again presented a full arm action topping out at 80 mph across the diamond. Projects as a corner IF. Offensively, started from an upright even base with easy bat speed and hand strength displayed. Really made an effort to generate leverage out in front with good jump off the barrel when timed up. Posted an exit velo of 80 mph. Ran a 8.15 sixty yard dash.
