Jack Affenita is a 2028 C/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Bayport, NY who attends St Johns Espiscopal. Lean athletic frame with some athletic upside behind the dish. He sets up in a high side saddle crouch with quick midline transfer and feett that replace themselves with quickness. Short arm action produces accurate throws in rhythm to the base. Right-handed hitter, wide base, and simple parts. The path is inconsistent but flashes decent bat speed to impact. The plane is level with rotational aspects to the line drive oriented swing and approach. Had success living middle to pull. 2.08 pop time. 7.58 60-yard. Great Student.
