Zev Schwartz is a 2028 LHP/1B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Desert Oasis HS. Started the event off clocking a 7.20 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher, secondary first-baseman. On the mound he shows a cross-fire delivery that adds natural deception to his look. Fills the zone and attacks hitters with a three-pitch mix, showing confidence in his arsenal. He creates tough angles from the first-base side and shows feel for competing on the mound. At first base, he has good glove actions with a shorter, compact arm action and clean, out-front receptions. The release is efficient, and accuracy across the diamond is consistent. His footwork will continue to improve with athletic development. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has a narrow stance. He shows some hard contact back up the middle with line drives, maintaining average bat and hand speed for his level. He stays on the barrel when timing allows and has room to refine mechanics and approach. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
