Carsten Hamilton is a 2026 MIF/ with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, SC who attends Oceanside Collegiate. Recorded a 7.45 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and slender athletic build. Feel for the leather with solid actions and clean gather to exchange. Lateral mobility to both sides and a quick release on throws across the diamond at 75 mph. Accurate throwing arm with ability to drop his arm slot moving around and solid defensive actions to play anywhere on the dirt. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance and toe-tap trigger stride. High back elbow slot with separation before launch and loft to the swing path. Some impact through the middle of the field and to the pull side when timing and contact are out front. Named to the 13U/14U Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
