Hayden Wilkinson is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia. Big and strong build. Works from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber with a low leg raise, gets into his strong lower half well working down the mound with a medium length stride and a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was mostly in the upper 70's with consistent two-seam sink and run, topped out at 81 mph, worked his fastball inside to right handed hitters effectively. Still developing consistency on his curveball release and tightness. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a short stride into contact, still start and could develop more rhythm in his swing, line drive swing plane, stays short to the ball for his size, swung much better in the games than batting practice when he opened up his swing and swung harder while generating come lift. 7.65 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, step by step actions to the ball, tends to play upright and get his glove down late, compact arm action and makes accurate soft throws. May have his highest ceiling as a power hitting first baseman instead of on the mound.
