Nick Stangota is a 2029 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Flemington, NJ who attends Notre Dame. Lean athletic build with some lower half strength and more to come. Left handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a short stride into contact, showed a compact line drive swing with contact to all fields, flashed some pull side juice when turning on the ball, plenty of projection as a hitter. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has quality arm strength with carry and on-line throws. Accurate with a sound fielding process with more arm strength in store as he matures. Also pitched, lands in line to plate well from standard slot and worked in a solid three-pitch mix. Fastball played to both sides. Left-handed hitter with even base and quick hands that meet bat to ball well. Compact path and sprays liners to all fields. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
