Spencer Reames is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Swampscott, MA who attends Swampscott High School. Reames ran a 7.61 Sixty Yard Dash. Primary right handed pitcher with a long wiry frame with plenty of more room to grow and additional strength to be added. With a linger drop step working into a hip height leg lift. The operation is aggressive and fast paced throughout staying stiff with the glove side occasionally cutting the release short at times. Coming from a mid 3/4s arm with some quickness in the shoulder he mixed in a fastball which topped at 76mph with some cutting action on it. Spencer showed a breaking ball with 12-6 shape that he was able to mix into any count he wanted. Secondary outfielder stays back on the ball fielding it cleanly off to the side with a clean two handed glove to transfer. The throws were accurate to the bases on a hop. Right handed hitter started with a wide slightly open base with low set hands rotating them into slot at trigger. With developing bat speed the hands work direct to the ball driving it up the middle to the pull side. Spencer is an excellent student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
