Luis Angel Escarraman is a 2023 SS/ with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from San Juan, PR. Physical frame with present strength and size to both halves. Some length to lower half, as well. Ran a 7.12 in the 60-yard dash. Infielder, has a strong arm that showed in throws across the diamond. Gets to the bag from a quick release. Has quicker feet for size and projects well on the left side of the dirt as a potential corner profile. Right-handed hitter, upright and open stance with a high hand set and high back elbow. Loads well backside and gets his front foot down on time. Good extension with strong hands that can turn a barrel over. Physicality really shows in the box as the strength at impact was more than present in his round. Good student.
