Rosalio Gomez is a 2029 BHP/RHP, LHP, 1B, 3B, IF, OF, UT with a 5-5 142 lb. frame from Las Cruces, NM who attends . Compact, smaller frame with plenty of room and time mature physically. Recorded a 9.43 second sixty-yard dash time. Both-handed pitcher that showed similar velocity with both hands. Fastball worked in the upper-50 to low-60s throughout and topped out at 63 mph. Smooth, more compact delivery from the left-side with fuller arm action and better command. Maintains balance down the slope and flashed a developing breaking ball with gradual depth. Secondary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork throughout the fielding process, showed some lateral range to either side and produced throws up to 59 mph across the diamond. Took part in the outfield portion of the defensive workout as well, where he threw with both arms. Showed similar deliberate pace to his movements, displayed fundamental footwork into the fielding process and recorded throws up to 59 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced, even stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and smaller leg lift trigger. Whole field approach with some quickness to his hands and length through the hitting zone. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Plenty of projection remaining.
