Connor Monahan is a 2026 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Anchorage, AK who attends Service. Features a medium-sized lean build with room to add. Ran a 7.91 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed developing actions. Taller at times in his approach. Some intent to get around it but doesn't work through it with footwork showing avg. quickness/range. Hands/glovework are solid showing a sure/soft reception to both sides. Waited back a tad on backhand. Arm worked with a loose/medium arm path out the glove to a lower 3/4 release where it showed avg. strength and decent carry across but with 50/50 accuracy. At the plate, sits with a medium base that is slightly open. Holds a flatter barrel that maintains into launch. Uses a simple forward move and smaller takeback of the hands. Stays shorter to the baseball working the barrel on a level path that creates some loft when out front but also some rollover at times. Consistently balanced swings. Some inconsistent timing throughout his round (mainly too out front). Best results were when he stayed through the middle of the field and produced quality LDs. Avg. bat/hand speed for his level. On the mound, worked exclusively from the stretch and showed a simple operation. Hip high knee lift and works straight down the mound with decent drift but minimal driveleg engagement. Shorter stride length but lands on-line with taller finish. Loose/longer hand-lead path out the glove that works to a normal 3/4 slot. FB was up to 76, showing standard 4S shape but flashed run at times. Mixed in a CB and SL. SL more true in the mid 60s and his CB in the low 60s showing bigger 11-5 shape with depth. Solid command in his first inning and lost some feel in the 2nd.
