Jj Lott is a 2029 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral. Young, square shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, deliberate tempo at start of delivery, builds tempo throughout, varies looks with leg lifts and works over front side well; gathers on backside before driving down the mound with a clean arm stroke working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 78 mph and flashes cutting action, maintains direction with lower half and showed confidence in breaking ball to freeze hitters while back-dooring the low-70s pitch for strikes. Deeper funnel at first base, works into a fuller arm stroke and shows solid arm strength and carry across the diamond, makes the plays well and shows nice potential around the bag. Left-handed hitter, begins with an even base and a tight and high hand set, back elbow at the plate. Utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing in the box, generates loft in swing and works comfortably to the pull side, shows a handle for the barrel with some strength coming off when squared.
