Carson Bayer is a 2030 3B/RHP, SS with a 5-4 123 lb. frame from Glen Head, NY who attends The Stony Brook. Young build with lots of time and growing ahead of him. 7.84 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, gets behind the ball and has active feet for his age, works through the ball and fields it cleanly, throws from a higher release point with developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a very wide base with a high hand load and toe tap trigger, stays connected well and has a repeatable sound swing, swings hard, mostly up the middle line drive contact, good swing base to build on. Took a turn on the mound, has a clean mechanical delivery, hides the ball well into an over the top arm slot, repeats well. Fastball was in the upper 60's, also threw a soft curveball and showed a nice ability to kill the spin on his change up.
