Beau Skala is a 2024 OF/1B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Kearney, NE who attends Kearney West. Skala works from a super physical build with evident strength throughout. Working exclusively from his primary OF spot, he displayed controlled movements and footwork with intent to stay on top of throws and work downhill. He generated some arm speed through release, topping out at 81 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with a high compact hand set and some hover to the leg trigger, creating impact to the pull side of the field. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
