Logan Chaix is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Weatherford, TX who attends Weatherford. Features a medium-sized lean build with present athleticism. Ran a 7.00 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed a relaxed approach to the baseball. Not much urgency but feet worked through well without breaking momentum. Gloved most of them clean and out front. Showed a longer arm action where throws were made downhill with one-hop accuracy and avg. arm strength. At the plate, he sits in a narrow and upright stance. Simple forward move as hands drop into launch. Stays relatively short to the baseball and throws it on a slight uphill path. Good amount of LD contact into the LC gap but showed some topspin GB traits as well with some rollover to the wrists and barrel. Flashes of above avg. bat/hand speed for his level. On the mound, he shows a simple operation. Side steps into a belt high knee lift with smaller depth/drop in the driveleg. Arm works longer out the glove and to a normal 3/4 slot. Shorter stride and lands on-line but torso spins off a bit towards 1B side. Ran the FB into the low 80s, T81 where it exhibited normal 4S shape. Mixed in an upper 60s, T70 high spin breaker that had slurvy shape.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
