Connor Owens is a 2027 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Mooresboro, NC who attends Chase. On the infield, Owens showcased good basic mechanics, putting a corner infield profile on display. He worked well to the ball with a developing skill set, firing across the diamond with high-effort mechanics, reaching 70 mph. With the bat, Owens used a strong and sturdy right-handed operation, extending the barrel through with long levers. On the mound, Owens worked with a two-pitch mix, starting with a fastball up to 75 that he could command to both sides of the plate. He also mixed in a mid-60s curveball, showing an ability to land it for strikes and produce soft contact. The right-hander starts from a base stance, working with a nice tempo, and delivering down the mound from a three-quarters arm slot. Good student.
