Djevan Jansen is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 6-4 207 lb. frame from Willemstad, CU who attends Segbroek College. Large, physical frame with strength and size present, good proportions and shoulders. Did not run a 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, abbreviated wind-up with preset start on the third base side of the rubber, small side-step to belt high lift, compact delivery, short takeaway and arm circle to high three-quarters slot release, works downhill, clean delivery with power mechanics, slight cut at times on heater, short slider break, more here with present pitchability, has upside on the mound. Secondary first baseman, high effort release with a high slot, low line throws, developing feet, moves fine around the bag. Batting practice, even and balanced stance, high back elbow with tight hands and separation, strength out front to pull, slightly uphill path.
