Alexander Burke is a 2027 MIF/RHP/C with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Oak Park, IL who attends Oak Park & River Forest. Smaller young build. Ran a 7.97 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop on defense, works out front with a compact look and generally accurate throws to the bag, showing a 72 mph arm across. Also shows the ability to help behind the plate with quick hands and release, posting a 2.18 pop time with 65 mph arm strength, and the transfer/footwork timing should keep cleaning up with reps. Switch Hitter, mirrored swing from both sides with a short, compact path and some feel for the barrel, and overall strength/bat speed should continue to trend up as the frame matures. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
