Blake Loden is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Perry, GA who attends The Westfield Schools. Lean young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. 7.67 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, glove is his best defensive tool/skill, fields the ball cleanly, developing footwork to the ball and into his throws, can improve his accuracy and consistency on his throws. Left handed hitter, sets up in a medium base with a leg raise trigger, tends to get his hands started late, inside swing path with mostly opposite field contact, flashed some impact when getting out front and pulling the ball. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a small side step to a high leg raise over the rubber, 3/4's arm stroke. Fastball was in the low 70's and mostly straight. Curveball was his best pitch with 11/5 shape and some spin and depth. Excellent student.
