2024 Northwest High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Scott Johnson is a 2026 OF/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Camas, WA who attends Camas. Features a taller build with some quality strength and athleticism. Ran a 7.11 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed a hesitant approach working with avg. quickness into reception. Glove flipped over a bit late at times but did work out front. Used a full arm stroke out the glove producing downhill throws with avg. arm strength for his level. At the plate, sits in a slightly open stance and uses a quick/simple trigger with minimal waisted movement. Hands dominant swing where they throw the barrel with a more direct entry that flattens out into contact. Avg. use of lower half. Noticeable adv. bat/hand speed that translated to some impact with a couple hard FB/LDs to the pullside.
