Granden Kinnie is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-1 217 lb. frame from Bloomfield Hills, MI who attends Ernest W. Seaholm. He has a large frame with a thick build and present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.41 seconds. Primary short stop that showed solid actions to both sides of his body and keeps his feet moving throughout the entire process. He has soft hands and showed good feel for the glove, fielding the ball cleanly and making quick transfers. He made accurate throws across the diamond and made all of the plays. Right-handed hitter that starts in a wide stance that is slightly open with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a small stride for timing and works through the baseball well with his lower half. He has a longer swing path and looks to hit the ball in the air. He does a nice job of getting extended and stays on balance throughout his swing. He has a gap-to-gap approach and is able to generate power, especially to the pull side. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 Summer Midwest Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
