Spencer Steves is a 2028 RHP/3B/MIF with a 5-10 153 lb. frame from Castle Pines, CO who attends Rock Canyon. Medium, thin frame with room for more size and mass as he continues to physically mature. Ran a 4.94 40-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, works around it some, big wind-up and intent into his release on throws during the round, late glove presentation, some whip in his arm. Secondary right-handed pitcher, sidestep to medium leg lift, higher three-quarters arm slot, gets down the slope well, quick shoulder, pounded the zone, fastball got on hitters in the 80-82 band, showed a slider and curveball, slider has better shape and played off the heater well, throws a split change too. Right-handed hitter, high hands and a high back elbow, crouched stance, inward front foot, loaded to his backside, medium leg lift, mixed in a hovering trigger to a toe tap, some raw hand speed to work with, bat speed will come with strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
