Keone Ede is a 2028 SS/RHP with a 5-5 122 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral. Features a smaller/lean build with plenty of room and time to add size/strength. Ran a 7.61 60-yd dash. At SS, showed rawness to the footwork but flashed quickness that got him to his spots. Displayed some quality glovework that fielded the ball clean with avg. glove/hand quickness. Used a shorter AA with some noticeable effort in the action that got off mostly accurate throws across with avg. strength for his level. At the plate, he sits in a wider base. Uses a smaller leg lift trigger where he sways into his backside with a smaller takeback of the hands. He throws the barrel on a slight uphill path where he was consistently under the baseball throughout his round. Showed a one handed finish and flashed some quality pullside impact. Found a couple pullside barrels during gameplay. On the mound, he showed a simple delivery. He side steps into a hip high knee tuck. Is more uptempo throughout the operation where he lands in-line with a smaller stride. Arm works with a smaller circle in the back and to release out of a normal ¾ slot. His fastball worked up to 74, living in the low 70s. Mixed in a developing slurvy breaker in the low 60s.
