Michael Currier is a 2028 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Holden, MA who attends St. Mark's. Tall and lean young build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a full wind up with a compact arm action, simple mechanics that he repeats well. Fastball was in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph, more velocity there in the future, has some arm side life and threw his fastball for strikes. Threw a rare curveball with some two-plane break to be further developed. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the infield and at first base, was fine at both third base and first base, made the routine plays and made accurate throws from a high 3/4's arm slot. Right handed hitter, sets up in a wide stance with low and tight hands and a lift and replace leg raise trigger, tends to cast his hands out to the ball, has the strength to impact the ball with adjustments. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
