Alexander “Sasha” Quigley-Skillin is a 2027 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Stafford, VA who attends Colonial Forge. Big and strong build. The right-handed pitcher works from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber and breaks the hands at the belt into a medium in-line arm path before accelerating through a high three- quarter arm angle. Does tilt the torso in transition but stays in-line through release well. The fastball (2078 RPM) was up to 86 and showed a slider (1928 RPM) in the low-70s and a change-up (1267 RPM) in the mid-70s with big arm-side run. Secondary first baseman that is a big target with a good first step and has some feel around the bag. Knows the footwork and threw well from various angles and accurate across the diamond. Also worked out in the infield. Limited range with heavy footwork with some feel to change slots. Left-handed hitter starts from a wider base with even feet and a high back elbow with a high handset, utilizes a heel lift trigger. Some bat speed and gets the barrel out front with a pull-oriented swing with some strength in the frame with lift in the swing. Exciting player on both sides with more power in the box and strength showing in every aspect. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
