Owen Armstead is a 2028 OF with a 5-10 164 lb. frame from Windsor, CT who attends Fusion Global Academy. Medium athletic build with good strength for his age and more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance with a medium hanging leg raise trigger, upper body swing and will learn to use his lower half more to help generate bat speed, has some hand quickness and keeps his swing short and direct, pull side contact but made game adjustments to hit opposite field as well., will get in and out of the zone too quickly at times. Athletic actions in the box and projects well offensively. 7.25 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has a quick first step and gets to the ball quickly with energy, keeps his momentum into throwing and has some idea on his footwork, short high arm stroke and makes accurate on line throws with developing arm strength, solid overall actions for a very young outfielder. Excellent student.
