Leo Kaplowitz is a 2028 RHP/SS with a 5-11 132 lb. frame from Concord, MA who attends Concord Carlisle. Kaplowitz works from a long limbed and plenty projectable build with room to fill out and physically develop. As a primary RHP, he worked exclusively from the stretch displaying a higher leg lift with downhill mechanics to ultimately top out at 65 mph. He attacked hitters in the zone and recorded outs efficiently with a slurvy breaker in the arsenal flashing developing spin profile. Projects for additional velo in the future. From the IF, Kaplowitz made plays asked of him with refining footwork, topping out at 63 mph across the diamond. Offensively, the righty started from an even base with a high hand set generating contact to the middle pull side of the field. More consistent impact should develop as he keeps the weight back and utilizes the lower half. Solid intent to create impact out in front. Ran a 8.43 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
