Brennan Runyon is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Newport, MI who attends St. Mary Catholic Central. Tall, long limbed, super projectable frame with good athleticism and plenty of room to continue to add more physicality. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.53 seconds. Primary position RHP, full windup from 3B side of rubber using abbreviated leg lift to balance. Rhythmic hands before breaking at the chest into medium inline arm path accelerating through 3/4 arm angle. Some energy down the slope and gets to release point consistently. Fast ball up to 80 mph with occasional cutting action and used slider, splitter mix for off speed. Low-70s slider with two-plane shape and tumbling splitter, all getting swing and miss. Punched out the side in his first inning in game action. Secondary corner infielder, covering ground with long strides and showing firm glove action securing the ball. First step quickness and clean transfer, showing comfort around the bag at 1B. Strong accurate arm up to 83 mph. Left handed hitter, using an upright stance and simple stride to launch. Has sound feel for the barrel and showed best bolts to the pull side with good impact strength. Lofted power present and more to come as strength continues to develop. Intriguing two-way skillset to follow in the immediate future. Outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
