2023 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Hunter Brown is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 5-11 192 lb. frame from Jeannette, PA who attends Penn Trafford. Big and strong broad shouldered build, pretty mature physically. Works from a full up tempo windup on the mound, gets into his strong lower half well with good drive to the plate, full deep arm circle in back with a high 3/4's arm slot coming through. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some arm side life into right handed hitter's hands. Curveball was an effective pitch for him, slurve type shape with good consistency and the ability to land it, worked backwards at times. Has an idea what he's doing on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall stance with a drop and drift into his swing, uphill swing plane, can simplify his shift to get to his strength more consistently. 7.82 runner in the sixty.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
