Ryan Amburn is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Prosper, TX who attends Walnut Grove High School. Medium frame with a very thin build. Ran a 7.29 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good under control actions with good body control to both sides, makes the plays well, good hands and funnels into easy release, up to 76 across. Pitches too, stretch only and simple down the slop, three-quarters slot and gets downhill some on the fastball, showed some run to arm side and feel for a pair of secondaries. Right-handed hitter, even base and deep hand set, works slightly uphill and inside the baseball, controls the barrel well as a whole and was consistent in producing some liners the other way. Good student.
