Jeff Cavanaro is a 2011 OF/SS with a 6'1'', 175 lb. frame from Cohasset, MA who attends Cohasset HS. Strong physical build, broad sloping shoulders, athletic look. Attacks ball in outfield, good footwork, comes through ball well and gets body into throws, good arm strength, throws are accurate and carry to bag, quick first step with good reads off the bat, high energy defender. Good balance and rhythm to his swing, hits through the ball, shows bat speed and gets barrel to ball, hard middle of the field contact, hands are quick, bat projects well as he continues to add size and strength. Named to Top Prospect Team.
