Matthew Paladino is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Randolph, NJ who attends Randolph. Lean, athletic frame with long levers, a high waist and plenty of physical projection remaining. Recorded a 8.14 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with funk and deception throughout. Incorporates coiled leg lift into balance with tons of moving parts coming at the hitter into foot strike. Fastball worked in the low-70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 74 mph from an extended, high three-quarters arm slot. Developing command of the strike zone, mixed in big breaking curveball with gradual depth that will continue to improve with additional velocity and proper mechanical adjustments. Secondary first baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Deliberate footwork into the fielding process, deeper funnel to field and displayed some agility around the bag. Recorded arm strength up to 72 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even based stance with a high, tight hand set and toe-tap trigger. Whole field approach with rotational lower half movements to create bat speed. Developing bat-to-ball skills that will improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Best impact was to the middle-of-the field when on-time and in-sync. Projectable, young prospect with velocity upside on the mound.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
