Kye Allen is a 2028 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-9 178 lb. frame from Belleuve, WA who attends Newport. Strong and stock athletic build. Works exclusively from the stretch with a mid-chest high tuck, tends to get off-line early and pull off into release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some carry up in the zone, fastball command will improve with better direction through release. Threw a short slider as his breaking ball to go with a firm change up. 4.87 runner in the forty. Secondary outfielder on defense, works through the ball well and fields it cleanly out front, showed his arm strength well and got on top of the ball, made accurate one hop throws. Left handed hitter, sets up in a narrow stance with a medium leg raise timer, long and level rotational swing, flashed some stretch at impact but has a long path to the ball. Good student. Named to the PG Northwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
