Riley Salvemini is a 2028 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Woodland, CA who attends Woodland. Recorded a 7.19 second sixty yard dash time. Tall, lean high-waisted frame. Primary shortstop with pretty big arm strength for the age. Low slot with some on-line carry to it. Legit arm strength across that jumps out of the hand. Solid backhand. Also threw on the mound. Smooth mechanics with good lateral drive down the slope and very good extension with an efficient arm stroke to create a lively fastball (2032 RPM) that was 82-84. Pounding the inner third of the plate. Excellent carry through the glove and getting whiffs on the fastball alone. Slider (2202 RPM) with real two-plane action with bite. Future top-of-the-rotation potential. Big athlete. Right-handed hitter starts from a medium base with huge projection and definite stuff. Connected stroke with feel to leverage the barrel. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Excellent student.
