2025 PG Northern California High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Cohen Dwyer is a 2028 MIF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Woodland, CA who attends Woodland. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to fill in and get stronger. 6.99 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, tends to wait back on the ball, has some quickness in his exchange and release, charged the ball well, second base profile at present, made some nice plays at second in the games. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a low hand load, has a short line drive swing with a pull side approach, tends to cut off his swing some out front, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Took a turn on the mound, works from a standard delivery with a front leg hesitation coming down the mound, longer arm stroke to a 3/4's arm slot, will open his front side early at times. Fastball was in the mid-70's and topped out at 77 mph with some cutting action at times, worked mostly glove side. Threw a sweeping slider as his breaking ball. Excellent student.
