2026 PG Great Lakes Indoor Showcase
Bryan Yaecker is a 2027 C/RHP with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends Roger Bacon. Big and extra strong build. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium straight stance with low and deep hands to start his swing, has strength in his swing and some barrel whip but inconsistent timing in his load and feel for the barrel, tools there to continue to improve with adjustments. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a wide side saddle stance, comes out of his crouch with urgency and quickness, shorter arm stroke, made accurate throws to the proper side of the bag. Took a turn on the mound, worked from the stretch with a quick coiled leg raise and a compact whippy low 3/4's arm action, front shoulder can get early at times. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with running life and late dive at times. Also threw a soft big breaking slider that hitter's didn't like when it was around the zone. Excellent student. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
