Gunner Carpenter is a 2028 OF/3B with a 5-6 155 lb. frame from Boerne, TX who attends Comfort. Primary Outfielder with an athletic build. Showed good fundamentals getting to the ball and works through it well. Fielded it with one hand gather out front. Throws made low liner with good accuracy and carry behind them. Was up to 83 from the outfield. Projects well physically with room to add strength. Also ran a 7.03 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a wider base. Good posture in the box and at contact. Maintains balance and posture throughout the process. Ball comes off the barrel good and strong ability to impact it to the pull-side was on full display. Power projects a good bit especially to the pull. Times the barrel well and controls it swinging with intent. On the barrel consistently throughout his round. Showed quick hands with bat speed and good ability to impact. Excellent Student. Named to the South High School All State Games TP List.
