Shae LaBlance is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, VA who attends Greenbrier Christian Academy. Recorded a 4.31 second thirty yard dash time. Long and lean frame. Primary third baseman shows smooth glove work and deliberate mover. Arm plays and made all the plays. Secondary outfielder fields out front off the front foot with passive footwork and some zip on the throws. Also threw an inning on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a full windup from the first base side of the rubber. Small side step to average posture over the rubber with a quick above-the-belt leg lift before breaking hands into a full in-line arm path. Accelerates through a three- quarter arm angle. Gets down the mound well and projects for more command as strength is added to the frame. Fastball (1772 RPM) was up to 79 with some run. Open spin slider (1521 RPM). Flashed a change-up (1387 RPM) in the low-70s. The right-handed hitter starts from a wider slightly closed stance and tight hands to the ear with a low back elbow, utilizes a inward toe-tap stride. Some bat speed with a rotational swing with a slightly uphill bat plane and some jump off the barrel. Intriguing player with a high ceiling as the frame fills out and adds more strength.
