Tony Merritt is a 2028 3B/RHP, 1B, SS with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends North Paulding. Good size for a '28 with some length and projectable levers overall, will continue to add and get stronger. Ran a 9.51 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, some lateral ability for size, clean hands out front, clean exchange to slot, under control throws across, solid feel for the backhand and overall produced a solid round. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full delivery, big side step to belt high lift, full arm circle, high three-quarters release, fastball heavy diet. Left-handed hitter, even and square base, high hands, high back elbow, short knee lift trigger, longer through the zone, getting it out front, some low liners in the round. Solid infield actions, plenty of time to grow and improve.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
