Jayse Hallman is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Berry, AL who attends Northside. Tall and lean high waisted build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, starts from a wide base with a slightly open front side, has a long and loose swing with some bat speed and strength at contact, levers the barrel well and can drive it to the middle of the field, nice base swing with lots of projection as he continues to get stronger. 7.03 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, under control on the charge in and fields the ball cleanly off to the side. Longer arm action to a higher slot release point, developing arm strength on display recording throws up to 77 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, short side step into a shallow leg lift, deep arm path to a three-quarters slot. Fastball got up to 72 mph (1460 RPM) and worked in the 70-72 range consistently with developing feel for a curveball, up to 62 mph (1599 RPM). Great student.
