Moises Garcia is a 2027 C/ with a 5-4 145 lb. frame from Manteno, IL who attends Manteno. Recorded a 7.80 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a compact build. Primary catcher works from a side straddle stance with athletic feet. Gains minimal ground but on-line and stays low on the gather. Short arm action and one-hop accuracy around the bag. Developing arm strength. Secondary outfielder proper prep step and footwork. Fields out in front and then shows a shorter arm action right behind the ear through release. Clean glove actions and soft hands. Projectable actions. The right-handed hitter starts from an even base with even hands and an even back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Shorter path with a direct approach. Extends well with a good feel fro the barrel and can work over the zone as needed and can lift a bit. Contact-oriented approach working backside in the air. Intriguing player with good upside.
