Ryder Michaud is a 2029 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Bow, NH who attends Bow. Bigger young athletic build for his age with some present strength to build on. 5.16 runner in the forty. Primary outfielder on defense, has quickness to his actions and attacks the ball well, fields cleanly out front, long, loose and projectable arm action, can continue to work on his footwork in his transition and release. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright and straight stance with a leg coil over his back side and a hanging front leg timer, has some young bat speed, flashed gap to gap line drive contact and some ability to drive the ball opposite field when he was on time, projectable hitting tools. Also pitched, throws from a high 3/4's arm slot, belt high leg raise with some hip turn over the rubber, arm action is loose and easy and the ball comes out well. Fastball topped out at 78 mph and was mostly straight. Curveball had good arm speed and some late biting action at times. Threw both pitches for strikes and has some potential on the mound as he gets stronger. Good student.
