Chad Kirby is a 2026 1B/RHP with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Beaumont, TX who attends West Brook. Primary 1B with a physical frame. Fields the position cleanly and looks comfortable around the bag. Gets off the bag well and made quality turns to second. Could get better with his angles to the ball and hopping off the bag but has an idea around the bag. Was up to 76 from first. Right-handed hitter with an upright stance and balanced base. Uses a hanging leg lift and stride for timing. Has good strength in the frame with strong hands with power projecting well. Will need to be more on time consistently to impact the ball. Produced an exit velo of 89 so the impact is there but needs to be on time. Also pitched throwing from a high 3/4 slot release with good tempo in his delivery. Gets good drive off his back leg working downhill. It's a steep release with big effort down the slope. Slider showed good horizontal shape with depth. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
