Mateo Meenderink is a 2028 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Brentwood, CA who attends Heritage. Lean projectable frame. In the infield, he moves well with solid feel for the backhand mechanic. Clean arm stroke produces mostly accurate throws across the diamond. Hands work out front and funnel it in well up the middle. Right-handed hitter, medium base, high back elbow, and hands that start at center mass. Initial move is a small leg lift trigger. The path is clean to impact with average bat speed. Engages the lower half some generat torque. Line drive oriented appproach that lives middle to pull. On the mound, its a simple and well repeated delivery with release out of a three quarters slot. Slider shows weeeping style break and plays well off the fastball. 7.85 60-yard. Great student.
